CCHMC Therapy Walkway

3430 Burnet is one element of the $100 million Burnet Avenue Redevelopment project. The building was developed on a tight urban site. Its design—from the building to the landscape—is unique for Cincinnati Children’s because of its sensitivity to the surrounding neighborhood. Several public amenities were incorporated to provide opportunities for neighborhood residents and visitors. DNK designed a therapeutic playground specifically tailored to children with physical and developmental disabilities. Many other site amenities have therapeutic uses, such as the ambulatory terrain, bike loop, and outdoor fine motor skills area. Click on image below to view project.
